World Wrestling Entertainment on Monday night honored the victims of the mass shootings in Dayton, Ohio, and El Paso, Texas, in a special way: the heralded 10-bell salute usually reserved only for combatants who have been in the ring.

The crowd inside and outside the ring stood in respectful silence as the bell was sounded during the telecast.

"We stand with you, El Paso. We stand with you, Dayton," WWE officials tweeted along with a short video.
