That's what officers in Augusta, Maine, encountered Tuesday while responding to a call about a "bald eagle street fight," according to the Augusta Police Department's Facebook page.
"Sure enough, the two of America's Finest were found, locked and unable to separate," the post reads.
The Portland Press Herald reports that Francois Roodman, an animal control officer, and game warden David Ross broke up the brawl. The moment was captured on video.
"The wild animal specialists used blankets to separate Americas' Symbols of Freedom, who were later seen flying over the [Augusta] Arsenal," the department wrote on Facebook. "It's a proud day in Augusta for these two majestic winged warriors!"
