A Canadian couple was visiting Memphis last week, to celebrate Elvis' 80th birthday, when their Yorkshire Terrier, Dixie, was stolen.
They didn't even have a chance to check into their room before their beloved dog was taken from their car while it sat in the hotel parking lot.
Luckily, Memphis Police got a tip that Dixie was not far from where she was taken, and the couple had a moving reunion with their adored Yorkie.
The whole thing is captured on video. The dog wags its tail excitedly, and the owner exclaims through tears, "They brought you back baby, they did!"
Surveillance footage appears to have captured the theft, and police are investigating the man seen in the video. One woman has also been charged with accessory after the fact.
