WATCH: Dads line up, cheer on kids getting ready to take state tests
A group of dads is trying to make test taking a little less stressful for kids at a Mississippi elementary school.
The group lined the sidewalk leading into McWillie Elementary School in Jackson on Monday morning. Students were preparing to take state standardized tests that day.
"We know that when parents step up, they do better," Fredrick Nolan told WLBT. "But when dads step up, they do exponentially better."
Nolan is coordinator for Jackson Public Schools WATCH D.O.G.S. (Dads of Great Students) program.
