Beyonce released the music video for her new song, "Spirit," ahead of the release of her "Lion King" companion album.

The single, released July 9, will appear in the 2019 remake of Disney's "The Lion King" and also be on the film's original motion picture soundtrack. It's included in Beyonce's "The Lion King: The Gift," which will be released Friday.

Wearing a lavender dress and donning red hair, 7-year-old Blue evokes similarities to a red-haired Simba in the 1994 version of the Disney film.

Beyonce, in a lavender and red gown, takes her daughter's hand as she sits in a desert landscape. The two sit as women -- also with red hair -- stand and sing behind them in red bodysuits.

It's just the latest music video Blue has starred in. She made her debut in her mother's "Blue" video from her 2012 self-titled album and has appeared in Beyonce's video for "Formation" and her dad Jay-Z's "Family Feud" video, among others.
