As the internet says, there's nothing that Chuck Norris can't do, except now maybe. He can't star in a reboot of his television show "Walker, Texas Ranger."

The cowboy hat is apparently being handed off to Jared Padalecki, according to multiple media outlets.

A reboot of "Walker, Texas Ranger" is in development, and the "Supernatural" star is in talks to star, Variety reported.

The original show aired on CBS from 1993 until 2001, but no network has picked up the proposed reboot yet, according to Variety.

It is being developed by CBS TV Studios, Entertainment Weekly reported.

Show developers apparently have a storyline set that will pick up with Cordell Walker returning home after being undercover for years, the "Today" show reported. He will be a widower and a father of two children, according to Entertainment Weekly. His new partner will be a woman who is the only female Ranger in history.

Padalecki currently staring in "Supernatural" but that show will end its 15-year run this season, according to Variety.

The new show will be called "Walker," according to Entertainment Weekly.
