A motorcyclist and driver got into a cat-and-mouse car chase on Monday morning after the motorcyclist said the driver cut him off.
Rone Gonzalez, 23, told WSVN that he was driving to work in Homestead on his motorcycle when a red Ford Fusion cut him off at an intersection. Gonzalez said the two began to chase each other, which escalated when they exchanged words and he smacked the car mirror before driving off.

"At that point, I just wanted to get out of the situation," he told WSVN. "You know what? Forget about this."
But the chase didn’t stop there.

Both drivers continued chasing each other with speeds going up to 100 mph and with Gonzalez weaving in and out of opposite-lane traffic, WSVN reports. At one point, Gonzalez said the driver, later identified as Kristian Rosa, 30, attempted to hit him to which he replied, “Man, I'm on a motorcycle. My life is literally on your hands.”
The chase finally ended with Gonzalez calling the entire incident “a stupid move.” Rosa told WSVN that “it only takes a second for an accident to happen” and “lesson learned.”
WSVN reports Gonzalez tried to file a police report, but was told by Homestead Police that road rage is “a common problem” and that “he shouldn’t bother.” Rosa said he called police during the chase to report Gonzalez.
Investigators said Gonzalez will be charged with reckless driving, and Rosa was charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and reckless driving, WSVN reported.
