The nine victims who died in the Oregon community college shooting were identified Friday afternoon by the Douglas County Sheriff.

Rebecka Ann Carnes, 18 years old: Carnes was an aspiring dental hygienist, her mother told The New York Times. She worked at the Walmart Supercenter in Roseburg, according to The Guardian, and was remembered on Twitter as a high school soccer player. "We are at a loss for words," her dad told Oregon TV station KATU. A memorial fund was started on GoFundMe, and had raised $1,260 of the $10,000 goal by 3:50 p.m. Friday.

“She had the biggest heart an amazing soul,” cousin Bethany Johnson wrote in a Facebook post. “The world clearly (couldn’t) handle that much good.”

CNN reported Friday that Carnes’ family wasn’t prepared to speak further publicly.

Quinn Glen Cooper, 18 years old: Cooper's family released the following statement in a news conference on Friday afternoon.

"We are in shock this happened. Quinn was only 18 years old. He just graduated in June from RHS [ Roseburg High School ]. Yesterday was his fourth day of college. Quinn was funny, sweet, compassionate, and such a wonderful loving person. He always stood up for people. Quinn and his brother Cody are inseparable. Quinn was going to take his brown belt test on Oct. 19th. He loved dancing and voice acting and playing Ingress with Cody, my oldest son. I don't know how we are going to move forward with out lives without Quinn. Our lives are shattered beyond repair. We send our condolences to all the families who have been so tragically affected by this deranged gunman. No one should ever have to feel the pain we are feeling.

Please remember the victims and their families. Please remember Quinn. "

Lucas Eibel, 18 years old: The family released a statement for Lucas Eibel.

"We have been trying to figure out how to tell everyone how amazing Lucas was, but that would take 18 years."

"Lucas loved FFA, volunteering at Wildlife safari, and Saving Grace animal shelter. He was an amazing soccer player. He graduated Roseburg High School with high academic marks. He was a Ford Family Foundation scholarship recipient. He was studying chemistry. "

"Memorial donations can  be made to Roseburg High School FFA and to the injured victims."

Lucero Alcaraz, 19 years old: "You would have been a great pediatric nurse," her sister wrote on Facebook. "I was so proud of you for getting you college completely paid through scholarships and you made it into college honors. You were going to do great things love. I ache so much right now."

“I'll miss her making fun of me when I would attempt to say the Starbucks cup sizes, getting pissed when I would tackle her with kisses or photograph the heck out of her,” her sister, Maria, wrote in another post.

Shortly after that post, she asked that for people to respect her family’s privacy.

Jason Dale Johnson, 33 years old: Johnson's family released the following statement.

"Jason Johnson, 34, was proud to be a Christian. Jason recently enrolled in school at Umpqua Community College. Jason's mother said that Jason was proud of himself for enrolling in school, and so was his mom. They felt that Jason had finally found his path. His family says that he will be loved and missed."

Sarena Dawn Moore, 44 years old: Moore graduated from high school in Reno, Nevada, lived in Myrtle Creek and lived animals, The Oregonian reported. She was a Seventh-day Adventist and listed the church as her employer, according to the newspaper.

Kim Saltmarsh Dietz, 59 years old: Dietz worked at Pryness Vineyard and Cellars in Myrtle Creek, Oregon.

"The Pyrenees family is heartbroken to confirm that our friend Kim Dietz was one of the victims of yesterday's senseless UCC shooting," a statement on the company's Facebook page said Friday morning.

"Kim was our caretaker for many years along with her husband and current Vineyard Manager Eric Dietz. Their daughter, also a student at UCC, was thankfully unharmed. None of us at Pyrenees can make sense of this horrific tragedy. We appreciate your respecting the Dietz family's privacy in this time of immense sorrow. In these times we must come together, lean on family, and never forget God's love."
