A New Mexico woman says a man she doesn’t know has been leaving bags of bologna and bread at her door.
Sharisha Morrison told KOB-TV the bologna deliveries began at the beginning of the year. At first, she thought the sandwich deliveries were an act of kindness, but then she realized the bags had a foul smell.
Morrison set up a camera and was able to capture images of the culprit -- but she doesn’t know him.
"He'll always walk up from this direction, and he'll just walk up and drop it on the little doorknob and walk away, every single time that's all he does," Morrison said.
The man has also been dropping bologna off at Morrison’s neighbors’ homes. She said some neighbors are so tired of the unwanted lunch meat deliveries that they’re planning to move.
Morrison said she called police, who said they can only act on the matter if they catch the man in the act. Police promised to step up patrols in her area.
