State troopers in Arizona have saved three cubs after a mama bear was killed by a car in Oracle.
The Department of Public Safety said the female adult bear was killed instantly in the crash, but the troopers and local police rounded up the cubs, and put them in the cruiser until they were given to the Arizona Game and Fish Department, KTVK reported.
They are about four months old, officials said and will be rehabilitated at the Southwest Wildlife Conservation Center with the hope of returning them to the wild, according to KTVK.
Until then, officials with the conservation center told the television station the cubs will be challenged and given games to play and puzzles to do.
