Top 20 U.S. cities to trick or treat

Halloween is right around the corner and some cities might be better than others to take your kids out for trick or treating.

Zillow's list of the 20 best cities for trick or treating reveals which cities are the sweetest.

Zillow based their list on four criteria – the value of homes in single-family residences, local crime data, the proximity of each house and age of residents.

“This data combines to give us the safest cities to trick or treat, where trick-or-treaters can get the best candy, in the least amount of time,” the website states.

California made high marks on the list with three of its cities in the top three. San Francisco ranked No. 1 for the fifth time in a row according to Zillow. San Jose, Calif., and Los Angeles came close behind at No. 2 and 3.
