Threats of hail across parts of North Texas had residents reaching for creative solutions as large as the Lone Star State to protect their cars.

The storm called for baseball-sized hail to fall Wednesday evening into Thursday, according to WFAA.

To prepare, residents got creative.

They covered their cars using cushions:

Sleeping bags:

Inflatable mattresses:

Towels:

And, naturally, bubble wrap:
