The Stamper Wedding Round 2 is on.
The Bristol, Tennessee, couple who started a GoFundMe campaign to have a second wedding after an accident caused the bride to have amnesia of the first will celebrate their first wedding anniversary on Aug. 1 by getting married again.
Jeremy Michael Stamper promised he would make another wedding happen for his wife, but he needed help to raise funds for it.
His goal was to raise $5,000 for the second wedding, and thanks to 365 donations, $10,060 has been raised as of Wednesday evening.
Earlier this week, there were $8,000 in contributions.
"When you are stressed, worried, happy, sad, calm, or whatever always trust in Him to guide you through life," Stamper wrote on his GoFundMe page. "I am so blessed that he has made this possible for us."
While Justice Stamper doesn't remember her first wedding because of memory loss stemming from an accident she was in 19 days after, she does remember the first proposal.
"He taped the ring underneath a bottle cap to hide it, and he was so nervous that he just gave me the entire bottle," she told People Magazine.
It's unclear if or how Jeremy will propose this time, but he is inviting donors for the campaign to the wedding.
