A new anti-bullying campaign video from the United Kingdom puts daily struggles into perspective.
In it, a 14-year-old boy named Ryan Wiggins takes the viewer through a day in his life as someone with Asperger's syndrome who gets bulled regularly.
He wakes up and right away asks if tomorrow is the day he'll be able to rise confidently out of bed, without fears or worries.
He walks through each part of his day and constantly asks if and how his life will improve.
Later we understand why these issues matter to him, as he is ridiculed and bulled daily because of his condition.
Asperger's syndrome makes it difficult for people to communicate in social settings. They "may seem clumsy or awkward" because of their coordination skills or follow a perform a certain ritual (such as getting dressed) with strict discipline, according to WebMd.
While the video can be hard to watch, the comments section on YouTube is full of positive feedback, support and encouragement for the young man.
