Target’s website goes down on Cyber Monday

Cyber Monday shoppers may have been too much for Targetthis morning.

The retailer's website was temporarily down Monday. A note on the site asked shoppers to "please hold tight."

“So sorry, but high traffic’s causing delays. If you wouldn’t mind holding, we’ll refresh automatically & get things going ASAP,” Target’s website said.

Target was offering online shoppers 15 percent off their purchase with a coupon code.

Some frustrated shoppers sounded off on Twitter.
