Suspect doesn’t like cheese, couldn’t have robbed ‘Cheese Shack,’ police say

A robbery suspect’s alibi is as full of holes as Swiss cheese, police say.

Zachary Forden, 23, told police he doesn't like cheese so he couldn't have robbed Mike's Cheese Shack Friday, investigators said, WEAU reported.

Witnesses said that Forden walked into the restaurant to order something to eat. When he gave the cashier money he grabbed a wad of cash from the open register drawer and tried to run.

Eau Claire police found Forden who told them he is originally from Arkansas and didn't like cheese unless it is Swiss, according to WEAU.
