A high school student is suing the Everett School District after he said he was suspended for preaching and handing out Bible verses.
The lawsuit says Michael Leal was suspended three times after refusing to tone down his preaching at Cascade High School.
Leal claims he was subject to religious discrimination.
The district has not commented.
The Seattle PI reports a letter from the district's lawyer says the teen was suspended for disrupting school.
