Police found a shotgun hidden on a playground Sunday after they received reports of shots fired.
A "Shot Spotter" device, which detects gunfire, alerted Hartford police to a playground where three 12-gauge shells were found, according to WFSB.
Officers canvassed the area and found the shotgun, loaded with three rounds, hidden in the playground. The serial number on the Benelli USA Corp. M3 Super 90 shotgun was unreadable, according to WFSB.
