Wearing his yellow vest, Yahoo sat rigidly still, staring straight ahead.
It was just for a caricature artist, not a 19th century photographer, but don't tell Yahoo, a service dog in training.
For him, the experience at Disneyland, captured in a caricature and shared on social media, is part of his development to become a service dog.
Yahoo is part of Canine Companions for Independence, a nonprofit group that offers the animals free to those in need.
"That's a perfect training and socialization for one of our dogs to get used to waiting and sitting at attention," Jeanine Konopelski, a spokeswoman for the service dog group, told BuzzFeed.
Yahoo lives in San Marcos, California, with a volunteer who is raising him for the first couple of years, giving him basic obedience training and exposures that help prepare the dog for service.
Yahoo will be able to turn on a light switch, open a door and pull a wheelchair by the time his training is complete around February.
"This type of socialization gives them the confidence to go to such places with their graduate partners in the future," Yahoo's raiser, who was not identified, told BuzzFeed.
