Sen. John McCain diagnosed with brain cancer, statement says
Senator John McCain had a cancerous tumor removed from his brain last week during a routine yearly physical at the Mayo Clinic in Phoenix, according to a Wednesday statement from his office.
A statement from the Mayo Clinic was released at the request of McCain, 80, and his family.
