Seattle Seahawks quarterback and all around nice guy Russell Wilson upgraded a soldier who was on his flight to first class.

Wilson was on his way back to Seattle Wednesday on an Alaska Airlines Flight when he, according to tweets between Wilson, and a Twitter user by the name of Kane Bernas, decided to give the Army soldier an upgrade.

“Russell Wilson was on my flight back to Seattle and he bought me up to first class. Mad respect! #Clutch,” the tweet said.

Wilson replied with a tweet thanking him for serving.

Wilson was returning from Washington D.C. after attending a state dinner for Japanese Prime Minister Shizno Abe on Tuesday, with Ciara Harris at his side.  See photos from the dinner here.
