32 riders safely jump off stranded roller coaster at Sea World San Diego

Dec 1, 2019A SeaWorld San Diego ride left 32 passengers stuck midair for almost 30 minutes Saturday.
The "Tidal Twister" roller coaster got stuck around 4:45 p.m., leaving riders suspended about four feet off the ground, KNSD reported.
All the passengers were able to safely jump off the ride around 5:15 p.m. after an attendant released the safety restraints. There were no injuries, The San Diego Union-Tribune reported.
The ride, intended for children and families, travels along a figure-eight track at about 30 mph, according to the park. At the center of the track is a barrel roll. It opened in May.
Park officials did not comment.
