Cordell Broadus, the son of rap artist Snoop Dogg, is reportedly stepping away from the UCLA football team for good but will remain enrolled at the school, according to Scout.com's Tracy Pierson.
However, UCLA coach Jim Mora says Broadus quit to make movies, according to a TMZ report.
"I'm throwing all my USC drawers away," Snoop Dogg told ESPNU during his son's commitment announcement. "I'm 100,000 percent UCLA now."
Of course, this isn't the first rap artist to make storylines at UCLA. In June, Sean "Diddy" Combs was arrested by UCLA police after allegedly assaulting Bruins' strength and conditioning coach Sal Alosi, per reports. Combs's son, Justin Combs, is a junior defensive back for the Bruins.
