A woman caught her boyfriend trying to sexually assault a 12-year-old girl in Maine on Saturday, according to NBC News.
She took matters into her own hands -- by running the man over with her car.
Deputies found James Oliver, 48, with badly injured legs in a driveway in Noblesboro, Maine. He and his girlfriend, Linda Currier, 53, were fighting before the incident, according to NBC News.
The girl was unhurt in the incident.
Both Currier and Oliver were arrested. Oliver faces charges of attempted sexual assault, unlawful sexual touching and failing to update his address as a registered sex offender.
Currier faces charges of DUI and aggravated assault. She has been released on bail, NBC News reports.
Oliver was previously convicted of rape and abusing a minor.
