Premium Foods USA has announced a recall of about 76,025 pounds of fish that were not re-inspected when the products came into the United States from Bangladesh and Myanmar.

Siluriformes fish items from those two countries are not permitted to be exported to the U.S., the U.S. Departement of Agriculture's Food Safety and Inspection Service announced recently.

Catfish are a type of Siluriformes fish, according to the USDA.

The Siluriformes fish products were sent to retailers in Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Michigan, New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania.

If you have the fish that has been recalled, you're being instructed to either throw it away or return it to the place of purchase.
