Eight St. Louis U.S. Postal Service workers are now one step closer to retirement.

The group of men all pitched in to buy a winning Powerball Match 5 lottery ticket worth $1 million on Dec. 22, according to STLToday.com.

The group will split the jackpot evenly, with each receiving $125,000 before taxes.

The store that sold the winning ticket received a $1,000 check, the report says.

The winning numbers were 28, 30, 41, 59 and 68.

That's enough money to sweeten the holidays, for sure.
