“She was hot and she was sort of clammy. It appeared she’d been in there long enough. She needed attention,” said Pennsylvania State Police Trooper Stefanie Lucas.

Troopers charged Tammy Lynn Price, 45, with endangering the welfare of a child, reckless endangering and drug possession.

Albert Eugene Core Sr., 72, was charged with reckless endangering and disorderly conduct.

“When officers arrived, initially there was a bit of a confrontation with the male who refused to give up the keys to the vehicle,” Lucas said.

Price was arrested that night, and charges against Core are still pending.

“Had (the concerned stranger) not contacted us and they’d stayed in there several hours longer, she may have suffered a medical emergency,” Lucas said. “Luckily, someone was concerned enough to contact us.”
