A mother in Michigan was arrested after police said she hosted a house party in July for her teen son and his friends in which alcohol and marijuana were being used.
Nichole Lynn Thomson, 37, was arrested for contributing to the delinquency of a minor and disorderly conduct, WXYZ reported.
Police responded July 21 to Thomson's house in Wyandotte after a concerned parent alerted authorities upon finding his intoxicated daughter wandering in the area, WJBK reported. Though many of the teens had fled the scene by police arrived, officers found several teens, ages 15 to 16, including Thomson's son, on the premises. Police discovered a teen laying in his own vomit on a trampoline in the backyard, WXYZ reported.
The girl who had been discovered by her father was taken to the hospital, where she registered a BAC of .16, which Deputy Chief of Police Archie Hamilton said for someone so young is "extremely high and dangerous, WJBK reported.
Thomson allegedly was intoxicated when officers arrived on the scene, and allegedly shouted expletives at the officers, WXYZ reported. She was arrested and remained in jail for about two weeks. She was sentenced to probation and released, WJBK reported.
