Pennsylvania State Police in Uniontown are investigating an animal cruelty incident in which initials were carved into the side of a pig in Georges Township overnight Saturday.
Police said someone entered a barn on Sheldon Avenue and cut the letters "D.C." into the animal's left side with an unknown object. The injuries were not life-threatening.
