A pizza pilfering pair stole five cases of frozen pies from a warehouse. Realizing they needed to get rid of them quickly, they tried selling them.

John Koozata, 29, and Lewis Oozeva, called the Gambell Police Department, asking the on-duty officers if they wanted to buy the pizzas, according to KTUU.

Officials called it their "strongest investigative lead" and arrested the pair.

After getting arrested, the pair admitted to stealing the 80 pizzas, valued at $1,100, and eating five of them.

The men were arrested and charged with second-degree burglary and second-degree theft.
