According to CNN, 27-year-old Malaysian photographer Keow Wee Loong, his assistant and a translator sneaked into the area last month through surrounding forests. He said he had planned to buy clothes to protect himself and his companions from the radiation, but he lost his money in Tokyo. Despite the danger, they decided to continue onward.

"Have you ever had a dream that you are the only person left on the planet? Arriving in the exclusion zone is similar to that," Loong told CNN.
