A simple image has touched the hearts of many people on social media.
The photo depicts a Richton High School football player kneeling and praying for an injured teammate.
The photo first received attention when it was posted on Facebook by local resident Cathy Smith Green. She wrote that the local school system is very small, with a total of approximately 450 K-12 students.
Green identified the praying player as Daylen Jones.
The photo has quickly gone viral, and has been liked and shared several thousand times.
