Rachel Jacobs, the CEO of ApprenNet, is missing and believed to have been a passenger on the ill-fated Amtrak train that derailed in Port Richmond.
ApprenNet is based in Philadelphia, but Jacobs lives in New York City, according to WPVI.
The company provides tools for teachers to utilize video-based lessons.
According to her company bio, Jacobs has an M.B.A. from Columbia.
Jacobs is reported to have a 2-year-old child.
