"It started this morning around 9 a.m. when I suddenly got a text that just said, 'raincheck,'" Levine told Tech Insider. "Curious, I wrote back with a question mark."

"The person said, 'I want my burrito.' I told them they had the wrong number."

Levine had over 60 text messages, which started coming in at 9 a.m. Monday.

His daughter in law, Dorry Levine, tweeted a screenshot of Hank Levine's phone.

Despite some harsh responses when Hank Levine told some texters that they had the wrong number, his sympathy is with Chipotle.

"I feel bad for Chipotle," Levine said. "They've got all of southern Maryland thinking I'm giving out coupons for free burritos."
