A gunshot took Sarena Moore's life. But Bullet also never left her side.
Bullet is Moore's service animal and was next to her when she was shot and killed by a gunman at Umpqua Community College Oct. 1, according to CNN.
Now Bullet offers comfort to Travis Dow, Moore's fiance.
"Bullet became a piece of Sarena," Dow said to CNN. "And I was happy to get him back."
Police brought Bullet to Dow the day after Moore was killed, according to CNN.
"(Bullet) has his moments when he's drooping and everything because he knows she's been missing," Dow said to KOIN. "It's going to be hard. But me and him got the willpower to make it together."
