A man died Monday while trying to revive his dying wife with CPR.

According to a York County sheriff's report, Coreen Molter, 83, and David Molter, 84, died of natural causes.

Brandy Williams, a Senior Helpers caregiver who checks on the couple two or three times a week, went to their home near Clover on Monday morning for a regular visit, the report said.

When no one answered the door and the caregiver was unable to get the door unlocked with a set of keys she found in David Molter's truck, Williams kicked in the door, the report stated.

The report said the caregiver found Coreen Molter on her back on the floor of the couple's bedroom, with her husband's body laying over her head.

That led investigators to conclude that David Molter attempted to use CPR to revive his wife.

Williams told Channel 9 the couple meant everything to her and were like grandparents.

Channel 9 reporter Greg Suskin talked to Williams and will have more on her reaction at 5:44 p.m.
