A mother was stuck at home and had to give birth to her baby in her mom's living room as Friday's winter storm raged outside.
"She's perfect. Her vitals were perfect. Everything was awesome," said Amanda Anderson about her newborn baby, Annabell Jade.
The baby was born in the middle of a snowstorm at Anderson's mother's house on a couch Friday.
"I was just bewildered. I couldn't believe the baby came out so fast," said the baby's father, Joseph Sutton.
Anderson said she went to her Lincolnton Hospital Thursday night, but they sent her home, saying it wasn’t time.

She heard about the forecast winter storm and was concerned about the baby coming in the middle of it.
"I was worried if we were driving there, we weren't going to make it, (because) I wanted to go to Lincolnton where my doctors were," she said.
Anderson's mother called 911 at about 2 a.m. when Anderson's contractions got even stronger.
"They got here just in the nick of time," said the baby's grandmother, Amanda Jo.
"I looked back. The baby's head was out," said Sutton. "She pushed twice, and the baby was out."
The family is grateful to a team of emergency workers.
"I couldn't have done it. There's no way I would have been able to make it in a car. Very grateful they got there as fast as they did," she said.
