Mucinex recalls cold and cough medicine

The makers of Mucinex have issued a voluntary recall of some Mucinex brand cold and cough medicine after it was discovered that some labels misidentified information about the drug.
The labels on the front of Mucinex bottles are correct, but some labels on the back are not. This may cause users to be unaware of some potential side effects and risks associated with the medicine.
The recalled medicine includes certain lots of liquid bottles of:
- MUCINEX® FAST-MAX® Night Time Cold & Flu;
- MUCINEX® FAST-MAX® Cold & Sinus;
- MUCINEX® FAST-MAX® Severe Congestion & Cough; and
- MUCINEX® FAST-MAX® Cold, Flu & Sore Throat
