Mother who allegedly admitted to stabbing four children to appear in court

July 5, 2016The woman accused of killing her four children last Friday will appear before a judge today.
Shanynthia Gardner is charged with four counts of first-degree murder, aggravated child abuse, endangerment and neglect.

Investigators say Gardner cut the children's throats inside an apartment complex. All four of the children were under the age of 5.
A 7-year-old was also inside the apartment during the murders but was able to escape.

Investigators located the butcher knife Gardner used inside the apartment. She also allegedly admitted to stabbing her four children.
