A Michigan woman was injured Thursday night when she swerved to avoid a collision with an Amish buggy, police said.
The 27-year-old woman, from Howard City, was driving in Mecosta County at 8:30 p.m. when she swerved at an intersection to avoid hitting the horse-drawn buggy, WXMI reported.
Deputies said the woman's car went off the road and struck several trees, the television station reported.
The woman was taken to an area hospital and treated for minor injuries, according to WXMI
No one inside the buggy was injured, the television station reported.
