A Pennsylvania man is accused of stealing several animals and more from a pet store in Westmoreland County.
Police said Bobby Crosby Jr. stole a 6-foot python, two green iguanas and a 2-foot Colombian boa, along with other items and $75 in cash, from Riverside Pets.
Two witnesses reported that Crosby bragged to a couple of women about the theft.
The pet store owner's son, Zachary Soliday, said police quickly figured out how Crosby broke in.
"The cop noticed that they used a butter knife to get through the door," Soliday told WPXI.
According to the criminal complaint, the owner of the store said that Crosby had been frequenting the upstairs apartment and had been loitering in the back of the shop for several hours before the robbery.
According to police, Crosby stole about $960 worth of items and cash from the pet store, which now has plywood and chicken wire on the front door.
