A Louisiana man died and two others were injured Sunday night when a pickup truck collided with a riding lawn mower, according to multiple reports.
Police on Monday identified Wilbert J. Bourque Jr., 41, as the lawn mower driver killed in the crash, according to KATC.
Bourque was driving on American Legion Drive in Rayne, Louisiana, with one person on the hood of the lawn mower and another holding on to its back while sitting in a wheelchair, the TV station reported.
A Ford pickup truck headed in the same direction as Bourque crashed into the back of the mower around 8:45 p.m., according to KPLC.
The two injured victims, both on the lawn mower, were not identified. According to KPLC, they were listed in stable condition at local hospitals.
Rayne police continued to investigate the crash on Tuesday.
