A thief who broke himself off Hunter Jobbins' Kit Kat helped the college student get thousands of the candy bars as a replacement Thursday.
Jobbins tweeted that a hungry thief made off with the lone Kit Kat sitting in his unlocked car Sunday, sparking the interest of thousands online including Hershey's, which makes the chocolate-covered crispy wafer candy bar.

"Keep your Kit Kat, thief," Kit Kat tweeted. "(Jobbins) now has ALL the candy."

The company filled the car of the sophomore in athletic training at Kansas State University with 6,500 Kit Kat candy bars.
Jobbins organized a giveaway and shared the candy with other students, according to the Kansas State Collegian.
"If the Kit Kat thief is reading this or keeping up with this, I would love for you to come and tell me, and I'll give you a big hug, a thank you and a lot of Kit Kats," Jobbins told the Collegian.
