Krusteaz Blueberry Pancake Mix made between April and June 2016 could contain E. coli O121, according to a press release from the Food and Drug Administration.
A supplier informed Continental Mills, the mix's maker, that the blueberry nugget used in the mix may contain some flour that was already recalled by General Mills earlier this year. The flour was contaminated with E. coli.
The bacteria is eliminated by heat used in cooking but the FDA and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention warn that you shouldn't eat raw products made with flour.
