Quick thinking by two little kids who were being bullied, has stopped the teasing in its tracks.
Phoenix and Kingston were being called names on their bus ride home from school, KHOU reported.
At one point the kids wanted to verbally strike out at the child, but then decided to go a more peaceful route.
At first, kids and their parents went to the school and the bus seat assignments were changed, but that only stopped the taunting for a while.
Then the kids dad, Vaughaligan Walwyn, a preacher, decided to go with his calling and as God for guidance. Vaughaliagan said God told him, "You know what, let's get this kid a Bible. Tell him Jesus loves him and invite him to church and see what happens," KHOU reported.
The kids gave the Bible to the bully, and minutes after, he thanked Phoenix and Kingston and apologized for what he had done.
Since the gift, the name calling has stopped.
And despite his role as a pastor, Vaughaligan told KHOU, "That kind of caught me off guard that it worked that fast or the kid was convicted."
