A group of kids in California are being called "junior detectives" after they helped find a missing 97-year-old woman.
Roseville police had asked for help in searching for Glenneta Belford, KCRA reported.
Belford, according to police, suffers from dementia and is non-verbal. She also will hide, KMAX reported.
An entire community came out to search for the missing woman, but it was five children whose phone call to police helped them eventually track her down.
They canvassed their neighborhood on their bikes and eventually found her walking the streets, KCRA reported.
Belford was reunited with her family, KMAX reported.
And police were surprised that 10-year-olds were the first ones to track her down.
"We highly encourage this group of junior detectives to give us a call in about 10 years," Roseville police officer Rob Baquera told KCRA. "Maybe we can give them a job. They're doing a great job, so far."
