Police said five children from Clifton Elementary School #11 were arrested for allegedly planning to set off an explosive device during an assembly at the high school Wednesday night, according to a local report.
The plans were reportedly exposed when teachers and administrators contacted police after finding the children’s written plans on how they planned to carry out the attack.
The children were arrested but not yet charged before being released to their parents.
All five children were suspended from school.
