There will be no public viewing, the funeral home handling the child's arrangement said.

Kamille died from asphyxiation by suffocation, according to warrants read by a judge at Friday morning's initial court appearance for the two people charged in her death, AL.com reported.

The girl's body was found Tuesday in a dumpster near the apartment complex where two people charged in her death lived, the website reported. That ended a 10-day search for Kamille, who went missing from a Birmingham playground Oct. 12.

Patrick Devone Stallworth, 39, and his girlfriend, Derick Irisha Brown, 29, were formally charged Thursday with capital murder of a child under the age of 14. If convicted, both could face the death penalty. They are being held in the Jefferson County Jail without bond, AL.com reported.

Brown is being represented by a public defender, while Stallworth is trying to hire an attorney, WIAT reported. The pair will appear in court Nov. 4, the television station reported.
