If you’ve ever sat at home thinking, “You know what I would really like for dinner tonight? That chicken I had on the flight to L.A.,” then you are in luck.

When most people think of flying these days, with its TSA entanglements, long lines, cramped seats, and surly passengers, the meal probably isn't the first thing to come to mind.

However, a new service from a German grocery store targets the few among us who were served more than a bag of stale potato chips and 1/4th of a flat soda.

'Air Food One' promises to deliver one meal a week to your door that will give you a taste of the actual meals airlines serve their VIP customers. The company says they consider the meals an alternative to take out.

Customers may choose from either “classic” or “vegetartian” meals, which are delivered each Wednesday and may be frozen until you are ready to have a taste of the friendly skies.

Some items on the menu include Arabic seafood and panserotti with porcini mushrooms.
