A person broke into a chicken shed in central California and killed 920 chickens with a golf club, according to the Los Angeles Times.

According to a Fresno County Sheriff's Office press release, the intruder was pulled back a fence to break into the shed, killing birds with a golf club and "possibly another similar type instrument."

The death of the chickens cost Foster Farms approximately $5,000, according to the release.

“Whoever did something like this is pretty sick,” Sheriff’s Deputy Chris Curtice told the Times.
